What is it?
Vision is a new initiative from Lowena Homes, which specialises in identifying sites which can provide a high proportion of affordable housing for local people together with the creation of concepts and structures which will enable those homes to be delivered in the shortest time scale possible. Providing affordable housing for local people presents a considerable challenge. It requires understanding and assistance from all concerned. Wherever possible the objective is to provide a variety of different house types - different sizes and different prices to ensure that the wide spectrum of local need is fully catered for. We do not seek to progress a development until we have satisfied ourselves that the site is supported in principle by all relevant interested parties.
Our mission
Simply put - but difficult to achieve - is to provide local people with good quality modern housing in their own town or village, at prices they can afford - whether for purchase or for rent. To achieve this objective it must be shared by the community as a whole and its elected representatives in the form of Parish, Town, District and County Councillors. All of these are consulted by us in advance to ensure that - having presented firm proposals - we are then able to rely on their support for our efforts.
